From a haunting purple carpet at Central Hall Westminster to a gothic after-party at the Royal Opera House, the night blurred fantasy and darkness.

Guests stepped through gothic gates, past gargoyles and gravestones, before raising a glass beneath the moon as shadows danced across the historic arches.
