Peach dahlias and pink champagne

Roberta and Robert’s wedding is a wonderful example of embracing the colours and flowers of the season for a look that is perfectly rooted in nature and the architecture of a venue. We love how the warm caramel and burnt orange tones compliment the beautiful brickwork of Fulham Palace and the low sun on the flowers in the walled garden. It helps that the weather was perfect of course! The couple originally planned to get married in Ibiza, so the sunset colours and brought a little of the Balearics to West London…

We used dahlias, roses, astilbe, dill and cool grey olive and eucalyptus foliage as our palette in a wild and informal style. The tall vases on the tables in the marquee created a sense of intimacy and fullness – important for a small wedding in a relatively large space, and little touches such as stem vases of flowers on drinks table added to the laid back charm of the wedding.

Congratulations to Roberta and Robert and thank you to Amy Sanderson Photography for these gorgeous images.
