Bringing urban nature to a tech conference at Excel London

Working with Sleek Events, our scope was to bring immersive planting to the AWS tech conference at the Excel London, inspired by the stunning Nature Discovery Gardens of the Natural History Museum.

This incredible project challenged us in amazing ways – from studying the original museum planting plans and sourcing plants from specialist nurseries all the way through to taking a deep dive into the art of pond plants to ensure we remained absolutely authentic. As a creative studio, we pride ourselves on the fine detail. Look closely for tiny saplings and Jurassic era ferns trampled by the dinosaur, algae from the Natural History Museum pond and rambling wild roses that you’d find scrambling through hedgerows.

We’re also so pleased that following the event all plants were donated to the Royal Trinity Hospice garden — continuing their life and sharing a little green joy beyond the day itself.
