Playful & sumptuous displays to enhance the grandeur of the National Gallery

Working with the team at the National Gallery for one of their monthly ‘Unexpected Views’ events, we designed playful and sumptuous displays to enhance the grandeur of the surroundings whilst creating an intimate environment for guests.

For each long table in Room 9, we crafted an undulating runner of flower arrangements of different sizes in ceramic bowls and bud vases, following the colourway of fresh white, cream and green. The style celebrated the movement and drama of the flowers with whimsical styling and focused on hydrangeas, roses, green hellebores, scabious, nerines, Japanese anemones, lisianthus and antirrhinum for a really beautiful design.
